Using this site

This is the personal portfolio of Musa Alanssari ("I", "me"). You're welcome to browse it, try the demos, download my résumé, and reach out. By using the site you agree to these terms; if you don't agree, please don't use it.

Content & intellectual property

• The writing, design, layout, and original code on this site are mine. Please don't copy, scrape, or republish them as your own without asking.
• Several Playground demos are faithful re-creations built to showcase my work, not the original production systems. Some real content has been intentionally withheld or revoked for intellectual-property and client-confidentiality reasons (for example, the Roku/TSCHUB channel demo shows placeholders and does not play the original videos).
• Company names, logos, brands, and any third-party material referenced belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe my work. See the Privacy Policy for more on third-party names and logos.
• My résumé is provided so you can evaluate me for opportunities — please don't redistribute it for other purposes.

The demos are provided "as is"

The interactive projects in the Playground are for demonstration only, with no warranty of any kind. They may be incomplete, may need a local server or a modern browser to run, may use your device's camera or files, and may change or break at any time. Don't rely on them for anything important.

Using the Face Tracker responsibly

The facial-recognition demo can recognize and remember faces. If you choose to run it, you are responsible for how you use it. Only point it at yourself or at people who have agreed to it, and don't use it to identify, track, or build records about anyone without their consent or in any way that breaks the law. I provide the tool as a technical demonstration and am not responsible for misuse.

Cookies & the newsletter

Using the site means a small first-party preference cookie may be set in your browser to remember your appearance/motion choices — see the Privacy Policy and What are cookies? for exactly what it does and doesn't do. If you choose to subscribe to blog updates, the email address you enter is sent to and stored by Buttondown, the third-party newsletter service that sends those emails; every email includes an unsubscribe link.

External links & embedded content

Some pages link to or embed third-party sites and services (for example GitHub, LinkedIn, an embedded live website, fonts, and code libraries). I don't control those, don't endorse them, and am not responsible for their content, availability, or practices — your use of them is governed by their terms.

Acceptable use

Please don't attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site, and don't use it for anything unlawful. I may change or take down any part of the site at any time.

No warranty & limitation of liability

The site and its demos are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site, its demos, or anything you reach through it.
